Went to work on my essay, got stuck on xkcd.com; Frequency of different events

xkcd Comic:

I also googled frequency to find out if frequencies is a word and found a festival in austria that doesn't sound too bad. Cards are about 150€ and it's a 4 day festival.
Here's the link: http://www.frequency.at/
And a review that - except for the "all headliners played at once" part - got me interested:

St. Pölten - Green Park

15.08.13

Adverts can be quite annoying and irritating. But Evony definitely took the biscuit.

Thought this might be interesting after the reason discussion about the Reddit feed ;)

It even got picked up by a national newscast:

Cats in space is a thing now

Take one of the internet's favorite cats (e.g. Grumpy Cat) and put them on a space background. Let them wiggle a bit, shoot lasers or merge their face with Nicolas Cage's and give this phenomenon its own website. That's how you get omgcatsinspace.com

Did we ever talk about Destiny?

Destiny seems to be a massive next-gen mmorpfpsg  made by the developers of Halo (Bungie) with production and marketing costs of about $500,000,000. The publishing studio Activision Blizzard aims at building a whole franchise imperium around their newly created universe, and it looks promising.
I guess Kampan Kamran already knew about it but I don't remember us discussing this game. Instead we focused on watch dogs which is going to be released quite soon btw.
Downside of the whole project is that the game's initially supposed to be on consoles only. A PC version might be adapted later though has recently been confirmed as unlikely.
Here's their website and a preview of the game's in-game features:
