"Making some music"

What I imagined when I asked "Do you want to go make some music"

What we probably would have created

In regards to this topic; I once got really hooked on the idea of turning voice and vocal sounds to midi. There was a kickstarter project I almosted backed because I tried to convice E. that it would be a great gift for her sister. Looking at the price, I can understand her saying "no" at the time, but the idea never left me.
Looking at what it is now and what artists like Andrew Huang create with it - might even be possible that the artist in the French TV Show used it mixed with some other effects to get a wider range of sounds - I still think it's really impressive! And there's a version two coming; I just signed up for the newsletter.

The Endless Acid banger

The music you hear is generated in your browser by a randomised algorithm, below you can see the notes and parameters that are currently in use. You can also interact with various parameters and buttons manually. The green autopilot switches change how automatic playback is. Leave them on for a lean-back experience. Buttons labelled ⟳ will generate new patterns. Source Code is on GitHub

Sensation Musou

It makes stuff look like it's rendered. The cardboard box in the first video is nutso and skip ahead in the car video for a real trippy irl/render effect https://www.ko-pro.black/product/musou-black-paint/

VR Interviews

I can't remember if I shared this before, but this is one of my favorite and somewhat bizarre YT channels I've found this year. This person goes out and finds moving stories of individuals that they tell in VR. The setting is often absurd and comical. The contrast it paints to the heavy subjects is surreal, but I believe it greatly contributes to people's ability to have these conversations. They find people they wouldn't meet otherwise. Sometimes the VR world has also definitely contributed to people's ability to socialize (this person has interviewed people with hearing and speech disabilities who talk about the unique role VR plays in meeting others while being able to communicate physically.) Also the game setting itself allows people to let their guard down and retain anonymity. It reminds me a little of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcWsJoHNd4Q
